OK...So Where Is FARMSTEAD?

FARMSTEAD is located in Sherman County, just one mile south of Grass Valley, Oregon on Highway 216.

Sherman County is "Wheat Country", bordered on the West, East and North by the Deschutes, John Day and Columbia Rivers. Not only does Sherman County offer some of the finest upland game bird hunting in Oregon, it is also located in the middle of the Northwest flyway. It is not uncommon for the sky to be filled with thousands of late season geese traversing from the rivers up to feed in the wheat fields. If you are a fisherman as well as a hunter you can choose which of these rivers you want to fish and be there in less than 30 minutes from the Farmstead Lodge and RV Park. These rivers boast some of the finest Salmon, Steelhead, Trout, Walleye, Small Mouth Bass and Sturgeon fishing in the world.

If you are in the Portland Area: From Troutdale travel East on Interstate 84 to Biggs Junction. Take US 97 South toward Bend for 28 miles to Grass Valley. At the South end of Grass Valley, turn right onto Highway 216. Follow Highway 216 for 2 miles to the FARMSTEAD sign.
